What a search keeps.
We keep each search's question, how we read it, the products we returned, and which product link was clicked, for 12 months, only to make the ranking better; never your IP address, name or email, and never sold or shared.
Kept, per search
- The question as typed, and how we read it (search phrase, product or action, products named).
- The products we returned, in order, and how long the search took.
- Where it came from: the website, the API, or the MCP server.
- On the website, which product link was clicked (docs, pricing, website, an official door).
Never kept
- IP addresses, names, emails, account ids, or anything not typed into the search box.
Why, and for how long
Searches and clicks show which answers were right, so the ranking can learn from them. They are deleted after 12 months. They are never sold or shared, and nobody can pay to change a ranking.
